Create a deck

In the deck overview, tap “New Deck”, enter a name, and choose the deck language. The language helps the app with audio playback and AI answers.

Create cards

Open a deck, go to the question list, and tap the plus button. Enter a question and answer. The card is added to the current deck automatically.

Study cards

Open a deck and start reviewing. Swipe or use the buttons to mark whether you knew the answer, were unsure, or want to see the card again.

Use audio

You can adjust voice and speed in the app settings. The app reads questions and answers using the selected language when iOS provides a matching voice.

AI features

AI-generated cards and extra explanations are optional and require a monthly subscription. Manual flashcard learning stays free.

FAQ

Is the app free?

Yes. Creating decks, adding cards, reviewing cards, and using audio playback are available without a subscription. Optional AI features require a monthly subscription.

Do I need an account?

No account is required inside the app. iCloud sync uses your Apple account when iCloud is available and enabled.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open the app settings and tap “Restore Purchases”. Make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID used for the subscription.

Where is my data stored?

Flashcards are stored on your device and can sync through iCloud when iCloud is available and enabled for the app.

How can I delete my cards?

You can delete cards and decks inside the app. Deleting a deck also deletes the cards in that deck.

How do I cancel the subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open the iOS Settings app, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, and choose the SmartCards Study AI subscription.

Why might AI features be unavailable?

AI features need an active subscription and an internet connection. Temporary service interruptions can also prevent AI responses for a short time.
