Style Studio Closet is designed as a personal wardrobe and outfit-planning app. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Data Stored on Your Device

Style Studio Closet may store the following information locally on your device:

• clothing item photos
• item names, categories, colors, brands, materials, seasons, notes, and tags
• saved looks and planned outfits
• style selfies that you choose to add
• app preferences, style rules, and profile preferences
• local AI usage/cost test records
• cached Content Library reference metadata used to match wardrobe items

AI Features

Some optional AI features may send selected images and related item details to a backend service in order to remove or improve a clothing photo background, classify clothing items, suggest metadata, suggest outfits or styling ideas, or generate try-on related results.

AI requests are only made when you use an AI-powered feature. Before Style Studio Closet sends personal data for these features, the app asks for your permission. Without your consent, personal data is not sent for AI processing. You can decline and continue using the app's non-AI wardrobe features.

The consent screen explains that selected clothing photos, full-body reference photos that may include your face and body, outfit details, style profile context, Style World interests, generic missing-piece suggestions, subscription status, and an installation identifier may be sent to the Style Studio backend hosted by Supabase. Depending on the feature, the backend may forward only the data needed for that request to OpenAI and, where configured, PhotoRoom, FASHN, or Fitroom to classify clothing, clean photos, suggest outfits, prepare reference photos, or generate try-on images.

These service providers process data only to provide the requested feature under their applicable data-protection terms. Style Studio Closet does not sell this data, use it for advertising or tracking, publish it in community features, or use it to train AI models.

Style Studio Closet may send privacy-minimized Content Library matching signals after consent. These can include normalized garment category, generic piece family, match status, confidence, app and library version, locale, and an installation identifier. They do not include photos, item names, brands, notes, raw user-entered text, or the full contents of your wardrobe.

For AI outfit-styling requests, Style Studio Closet may temporarily retain diagnostic snapshots for support and reliability review. These can include the request context, the wardrobe metadata included in the request, AI criteria and response details, status, usage information, and a support identifier. They are not public and are deleted automatically after a short retention period, currently about one hour.

Face Data and Reference Photos

Style Studio Closet does not collect face geometry, face templates, face embeddings, facial landmarks, face-recognition identifiers, or biometric identifiers.

If you choose to add a full-body reference photo or style selfie, the image may include your face and body. The app uses these photos only for wardrobe personalization, optional reference-photo preparation, and optional AI try-on generation. It does not use reference photos to identify or authenticate you, track you across apps or websites, or train AI models.

Reference photos saved in the app remain on your device until you delete them or delete the app. If you enable iCloud synchronization, they may also be stored in your private iCloud account until you delete them through the app or your iCloud data.

For asynchronous AI try-on generation, the selected reference photo and clothing images may be uploaded temporarily to private backend storage hosted by Supabase so the request can continue processing. The selected data may be forwarded to OpenAI and, where configured, FASHN or Fitroom to provide the requested result. Temporary input files are deleted after the job succeeds or fails. Generated try-on results and job status records are deleted automatically no later than 24 hours after processing. These files are not public.

Purchases

Style Studio Closet uses Apple StoreKit for in-app purchases and subscription status. Apple processes purchases directly. Style Studio Closet does not receive or store your full payment information.

Camera and Photo Library

Style Studio Closet may request access to your camera or photo library so you can add clothing items or reference photos. Photos remain local unless you explicitly use an AI feature and consent to the transfer described above.

Data Sharing

Style Studio Closet does not sell your personal data.

Data may be processed only by technical service providers needed for the selected functionality: Apple for purchases and optional iCloud synchronization, Supabase for the Style Studio backend and temporary private storage, and OpenAI, PhotoRoom, FASHN, or Fitroom where configured for the AI feature you request. We require service providers handling personal data on our behalf to provide privacy and security protections consistent with applicable law and our obligations to users.

Retention and Deletion

• Local wardrobe and reference-photo data remains until you delete it in the app or delete the app.
• Data synchronized to your private iCloud account remains until you remove it through the app or your iCloud data.
• Temporary AI try-on input files are deleted after the job succeeds or fails; generated results and job records are deleted no later than 24 hours after processing.
• Temporary Sophia styling diagnostics are currently deleted after about one hour.
• Other AI request data is retained by service providers only as necessary to provide and secure the requested service under their applicable terms and our agreements.

You can delete individual clothing and reference photos inside the app. Deleting the app removes its local data. To request deletion of backend support data associated with a support identifier, contact us at the address below.

Children

Style Studio Closet is not intended for children under 13.
